Appleyard on Element?!

Just flicking through some pictures of the X-Games practice session on the TWS site and noticed the comment about Mark Appleyard's 'interesting' new board. I had to do me research on this one and I'm pretty sure he's riding a Bucky Lasek Element deck

If he is on Element now, I must say I am very surprised. No doubt something surrounding this will be revealed soon.

An old friend

I've recently moved home and I am currently in the process of finding old stuff and chucking it out, as you do. I've found loads of old skateboarding stuff from over the years, some of which may be of interest.

This is an old sign I've had since I was about 15, it is from a church (no shit) in south Belfast we used to skate. They must have put up about 4 or 5 batches of these within a year! There were a few up at any one time and they all got nicked. I may be the only person to still have one of these. The church eventually realised that the signs would keep getting stolen so they resorted to spreading gravel everywhere and thus ruined a nice wee spot.

Pirkka Pollari

We all know that Pirkka Pollari is a talented Finnish skater, what I didn't know up until today was that he's on the team of a Florida skateshop called 'Plus.'

And these are his leftovers from their latest video!

This is without a doubt, one of my favourite places to go on the internets...

The Chrome Ball Incident

I have been meaning to post this link up for a while. Essentially, this is your 'one stop shop' for all your skate history needs.

P.S. I take no responsibility for the amount of time that you waste whilst browsing this site.

And here we go...

First episode of Skate Nerd on TWS site. I can't wait to see more of these!

This is going to be awesome!!!

Fancy your chances? Not that it's open to public but I'd love a good skate knowledge quiz.
